Our Marinas in the Canary Islands and Mallorca

EccYacht Charter has marinas in the Canary Islands on the islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. In the Balearic Islands, the marina from which the charters operate is located on the island of Mallorca.

In Tenerife ECCYACHT has three marinas, one in Santa Cruz and another two in the south of the island. “Marina Santa Cruz” located in the capital, “Marina San Miguel” in San Miguel de Abona and “Marina del Sur” in Las Galletas. In Gran Canaria, the Puerto Deportivo de Mogán together with the “Marina Rubicón” in Lanzarote are the bases in the province of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. “La Lonja Marina” is the base from which charters are operated in Mallorca.

Get to know the best places to surf in the Canary Islands, snorkel and dive in the largest marine reserves in Europe, walk through the volcanoes and get lost in the wildest islands.

Gather your best friends and explore the blue sea of the Balearic Islands aboard your own sailing yacht. Dance, sleep and swim on a different beach every day of the week

Good charter company based at Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife with lots of bareboat options. We have a great time at Balearics islands during this summer.

New boat, what else ;-)The boat was so well equipped, for example plenty of small pieces of rope, so helpful …And the most important the best team for check-in check-out I've ever had, so pro, so reassuring.Thank you so much Diego & Angel.

WARNING - beware of scam!We charted a yacht from ECC and returned the vessel in good order as certified by the check-out clerk. The following week we were contacted by ECC, who have not yet returned our €2600 deposit, to tell us that the engine had been over-revved and we must now pay €753 for oil valves and filters. The engine at no point passed 2500 revs, period. We understand that the season is slow due to Coronavirus but it is an absolute embarrassment to resort to these methods to pay for general maintenance in the hope that your clients do not query these nonsensical charges. We are in the process of instructing a local solicitor to challenge this scam.Other issues of note:- Late fishing equipment rental, delayed voyage by one night- Overcharged for fishing equipment- Mis-advertisement of “10% discount” on website

I chartered s/y Akilina from ECC Yacht Charter in Las Galletes, Tenerife in October 2020. The yacht was well prepared and performed great under challenging wind conditions in the acceleration zones. I received excellent and prompt support from Augusto and Patricia during the charter. As one week was not enough to visit all seven islands, I'm sure I'll be back soon! :)
Excellent experience and excellent service! They provide us all the information we needed about forecast and places to visit. Proffesional Check in and Check out!

Very friendly and competent people. The chartered yacht was in best technical condition (built 2021) and very well cleaned. Patricia organised a permit for Cabrera for us in advance. Handover and return of the yacht were carried out very professionally and without any problems. This was our third charter with ECC (Mallorca and Tenerife) and we will be happy to return.

Sailingyacht (Build in 2018) in good conditions. Staff was friendly and Check in worked out smoothly except for a 3h delay.Trip was good but after returning 350 Euro were billed for a „new“ microcrack in a Front hatch without that we had damaged it.Strange thing was that the same claim was raised by ecc against our neighboring yacht skipper, so i assume it is their way to scam customers. So be aware and note every single scratch before departure!Safe sailing,

Chartered Tomajito 37' Bavaria via Bareboat Sailing Holdays who are based in London from Palma 03/08/2013 to 17/08/2013. Overall impression of both yacht and service given by Ecc was most disappointing!! I must add that Liam from Bareboat Sailing was excellent with the pre-service given.1)The yacht was not fit for safe charter.. the boats windlass I discovered, after having signed for the yacht, was mounted, not directly to the deck but, mounted on a piece of 6 ply wood screwed onto the deck !!!!This should be the strongest part of the boat for obvious reasons. However , when this was pointed out to staff they insisted that it would be safe and that they had plans to repair it during our charter but were waiting for parts to be shipped from mainland Spain. Needless to say, this never happened !!!2)Again... anchor chain.... this was too big for the windlass!!!! In order to lift anchor I had to stand on the chain whilst operating the windlass so that the chain fed into the locker, not the safest of practices !!!! Even then it would take an inordinate amount of time to get the anchor up and stowed!!! Eventually reverted to lifting the anchor by hand.......!!!!! Once again I was promised that this would be attended to and that the chain would be changed during the charter but, .......they were awaiting delivery of a new chain from the mainland...... and that, unfortunately, due to an holiday period consequently delivery had been delayed !!!!!3)Outboards....poorly mantained.... had to be replaced 3 times during the charter....actually went 5 days without the use of a serviceable motor, why.... because I had sailed across to Menorca and they couldn't possibly get one to me there !!!!4)Calor gas..... make sure that you have 2 full cannisters !!! I didn't Having been given one full cannister ,stowed in the locker as it should be. The other was connected up to the stove, unfortunately, unkown to me, this cannister was almost empty !!!As a result..... I ran out of gas..... no problem ... surely ECC would bring me another, especially as we were only 6 miles from Palma at this time....... NO WAY... it was a Public holiday and would be "impossible" to provide us with gas!!! Solution... you buy we will refund you the cost!!!Refund...... NO.....this was part of the fuel costs and had to be met by me. Never heard of that before. An aside to this, ECC were the first charter company that I have known that actually charged for gas before charter!!!!!5)ECC do not operate a '24 hour back up service' a quote from the service team leader. This must be the only charter company in the entire Med that doesn't......although they profess to give 24 hour support in there promotional material. In all honesty I cannot recommend this charter company to anyone. Dangerous equipment, poor support, dishonest staff,I will certainly never use them again and would strongly recommend that no-one else does.Tomajito was turned around at the end of my charter and immediately re-chartered again without repairs being carried out...ie, same dangerous windlass, same oversized anchor chain. I sincerely hope that the young family that took the charter never have the need to get the anchor up quickly.........
