Marina Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Marina Santa Cruz or also called Marina del Atlántico, located in the heart of the city, has been declared a port of call for numerous regattas and rallies, and is a regular resting place for hundreds of boats that make their last stop before crossing the Atlantic heading to the Caribbean.

Marina Santa Cruz stands out for its location next to the Anaga mountains, the island of Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and the north of Tenerife, as well as its ease of sailing to the island of La Palma through the port of Garachico.

The Marina Santa Cruz (also known as Marina del Atlántico), is located in the old fishing pier, in the very center of the capital of Tenerife. It offers well-maintained quality services. The town has a good range of shops and several large supermarkets.

The port is an important ferry terminal that connects the island with other islands in the archipelago. It is also one of the busiest ports in the Canary Islands, and even in Spain.

This port has a long naval heritage due to Tenerife’s strategic location, being on the sea route to the Mediterranean and the Americas. In the past the city has been attacked by some renowned English and Danish. It is worth noting two important naval battles where two well-known British Admirals were involved: Nelson and Blake.
